Description of 1955 Ford Other Pickups Ute/panel/pickup

Extremely unusual vehicle. Started with a worn out 1955 Ford F100 Panel truck. rear of the panel became the rear of the cab. then chopped top 6"Sectioned the body 3" shortened the front of the vehicle 4". Used the rear windows from the panel and made them into a single rear window. Hand built a drop down tailgate strong enough to load motorcycles on. tailgate has an electric solenoid and Bear Claw latchesDoors are suicided (open backwards) and they have bear claw latches also. The front sheet metal clip is one piece all metal. hinges forward. The front suspension clip is a 74 chevelle with power steering and disc brakes. rear is a ford 9" attached by a triangulated 4 bar from Heidts. All 4 corners are air ride air adjustable bags. The engine is a fresh 472 Cadillac with a used turbo 400 trans. Steering column is a flaming river tilt with column shift. I still have the stock instrument panel but bought a cast aluminum round gauge panel for this truck. it is a Brand New Champion full flow aluminum cross flow radiator. included is a nice 1960 Galaxie aluminum grille and a set of 1960 Ford Taillights. so far I have run the rear wiring harness and am in the process of building the front harnesses. will have it running soon. All the brake lines have been run with new as was the fuel line. the gas tank is a brand new Mustang extra capacity. NO Glass as of yet. I have always thought the 53 to 56 ford trucks looked long in the nose and the tires were not centered in the front wheel wells. This front end has been shortened 4" in front of the front wheel wells. which makes it look a lot better IMO also while shortening the front nose I canted the fenders inward to fit the shape of the Galaxie grille. another point. there are some that do not like the shape of the roof. I had to work pretty hard to get that shape as it is. I wanted to follow the stock body line and somehow make the top have a slight fastback look. Title is in the process. should be here soon. This is a Pretty big project. But when done it will be a ONE OF A KIND. can you imagine parking it at a F100 truck meet and just sitting behind someone elses car listening to all the know it alls telling others what it was???? Anyway. IF it sells. I do NOT ship. YOU MUST make the arrangements. I will help as best I can in loading. Vehicle will be Paid In Full BEFORE it goes on a transport.
