Description of 1951 Ford Other Ford Victoria flat head shoebox Convertible

1951 FORD Victoria 2 door coupe Drop top... all original.

Fresh out of an estate sale this car is a wonderful driver that has been cared for meticulously all it's life. The paint is respectable in the original beige that was popular back in the day. The body is solid and no rust. The chrome is bright and very nice. The engine is a stock 239 cu in. flat head V8. The motor runs strong and quiet through a full dual exhaust with chrome tips. The transmission is a 3 speed manual on the column. The radial white walls are in good condition. All gauges, lights, windshield wipers, etc... work as they should. The interior is in excellent condition and represents all the colors and textures of the 50s. The seats are tan vinyl and excellent condition. The top is a power with nicely done canvas material. The rubbers and weather stripping is nice. The back and front seats have been outfitted with modern seat belts so all can enjoy. The floor pans and underside of the car looks immaculate as does the rest of the car. All the chrome and stainless trim is in wonderful condition. The inside of the trunk is immaculate with the original spare and jack. Also the proper cardboard inserts. Overall the car is amazingly preserved for being 67 years old however it does have a couple of nicks and scratches and dings. The car runs and drives well. Their are some opportunities to tinker, needs a new antenna, and a needs to be run as it's been in storage for years... It stops well and has a good clutch. This vehicle will bring you a smile just seeing it in your garage.
