Description of 1993 Ford Mustang LX

1993 Ford Mustang LX Convertible, special edition. Car has a little over 129K miles and this will change as the car is driven quite often in good weather. I bought the car in the spring to have a convertible for the summer and beyond. However, I find I have interest in another carso I've put this car up for sale but if it doesn't sell, that's fine as I have no issues keeping the car as was the original plan. The only history I know of the car is what was relayed by the individual (dealer?) who sold it to me. He said the car spent most it's life in Florida up until the Fall of 2017 when it was brought up to N.E. to be sold. Said it was owned by an older couple for many many years. I was told the car was repainted 5 years ago along with a new top and interior. Everything presents itself well but of course, now being 5 (or ?)years old, it's not "new & perfect" anymore. Yellow exterior has been detailed and has a very nice shine. Car runs great. Shifts as it should. AC blows cold. Top goes up/down with ease. Ireplaced the following in the few months I've had it for "peace of mind": new smog pump (noisy), new alternator (noisy), new serpentine belt (might as well), new top radiator hose (small leak at the neck), new air filter, power steering fluid changed (pretty dirty) and new power window motor for driver's side rear window (old one worked intermittently). Also replaced the two convertible tophydraulic cylinders because driver's side was leaking pretty bad. Just did a recent oil change. Right now allelse looks good. Just about everything works inside the cabin (cassette player DOES NOT but AM/FM does, ash tray door doesn't close completely (no ash tray/lighter but these can be bought if you smoke) and interior lights only come on manually). Everything outside works so you can pass inspection. This is just a very nice "driver" that looks very presentable as is. But remember, it's 25 years old with 129K miles so some things will show their age like lenses, weatherstripping, etc..
Best thing about the car is that it is unmolested and basically stock (still has the catalytic converters). So if you want a car that hasn't been messed up with all kinds of performance stuff, this is it. It's also the limited edition model (only so many produced in '93) and you can find out more about that online.

Copy this link to see the latest video of the car exterior:https://youtu.be/dkAucaCYQP0(this video taken 7-29-18; note: license plate frame attaches only under the bumper using the factory holes) and if removed will leave NO RESIDUAL HOLES in the front of the bumper. Also, antenna off because I use a car cover, it's in the trunk.)
Rhode Island is a non title state for all cars this old. But I have an Official DMV Letter attesting to this and that along with my current registration and a Bill Of Sale, should allow you to register the car. I also have the Florida Title signed over to me which would go to the new owner as well. But it is best to check with your DMV to see if this is acceptable before making the purchase.
No warranty of any kind on this old vehicle, sold as is, where is. That said, best to check it out before buying or have someone check it out for you. Don't make the purchase and then say you'll look it over; if that is how you do it, just walk away. Of course you are welcome to buy it SIGHT UNSEEN. In which case you will make a $500 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT to paypal after you do the buy it now. Then 3 days later, payment in full is expected either by cash or bank transfer. If you prefer another payment method, email me FIRST for discussion. 7 days to get the car on it's way to it's new home, buyer will make all arrangements for that.
Call me if you have more questions that can't be emailed: 774-488-4810 (between 9AM - 8PM only please). Probably wise to talk to me first before you click the Buy It Now button, because I can't put in every little detail about the car in this ad.
