Description for Ford Other 1964

Up for sale is a 1964 Ford Country Squire 9 pass station wagon. Zero rust. Rare standard trans. The car is a 289 V8 Overdrive car from the factory. however it now has a 223 straight 6 from another 64 Galaxie. I have the bell housing. clutch and throttle linkage should you want to return it to a V8 (will go with the car on request). New clutch. brakes. tires and tons more. however the brakes still need to be bled as they still have air in the system. No rust ever. VERY solid car. Runs well. but needs some finishing work (brakes bled etc). Body is straight. has a few dings here and there. not a high point show car! Paint not perfect. has some orange peel that could be color sanded out NOT A SHOW CAR! Drivers door upper wood trim is not kosher. the original was beyond saving so one was made that looks Ok till another can be found. Has power rear window. not working. window will be blocked in position for transport. The interior is from a 64 Galaxie XL500. All 4 door panels are from an XL. as well as the front seats and center console. The console has no shifter hole ever. VERY rare as it had to be out of a XL with column shift or swing away. has the XL500 clutch. brake and gas pedals. New windshield and rubber. nice dash pad. needs headliner and a few little things. Also has the third seat cushions. Standard trans. no power steering. have a copy of the original sales contract and a signed title from 1968 from Pennsylvania. The car is not in the California DMV system but has lived here since new (title and contact have a California address) Equipt with roof rack. mirror/spotlight. wire wheel covers. factory spare and jack. all 4 correct station wagon rims. The car still needs some work. NOT A SHOW CAR and some tinkering. Only reason I'm selling it is I'm have both knees replaced and my stick shift transmission car days are over. now the business details. PLEASE ASK ANY QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING! Bidders with under 10 feedback may have their bids canceled if they fail to contact with intent to honor bid. no strange over seas dealings. bidders who fail to play nice will be fed to my Basset Hound. he just loves those Guys. car must be picked up prior to 3/20/15
