Description of 1971 Ford Pinto

1971 Pinto

289 Motor with Blower and lots of goodies! * I did not build this car, I have no specs on this. The previous owner had it for a few years (he did not build it either), drove very little, always garage kept * C4 Transmission with a manual shift body * Holley Carbs * MSD Box * Line Lock * Dual Fuel pumps * 9 inch Ford rear (I'm guessing 373 gears) * Boost Retard * Customized doors both open with key, (handles have been shaved) and open from inside by the door-lock * Battery shut off switch on outside * Fuel cell is in the trunk * Underneath has had as much attention as the top * Please look at both videos and pictures in the links below, a lot of time and money went into this car * Truly is a pro street rod / show car * Paint is nice * Hood is removable * Runs and drives as well as any tubbed out street rod should * We had it running 50/60mph and it handles well * Speedometer and odometer DO NOT WORK!!! Will be sold TMU * This car was not built to be driven long distances, this car must be trailed home * If you're looking for a nice Pro Street/Show car this is the one! No expense spared on this car! Gets lots of looks! BID TO BUY * But please, BUY IF YOU BID!!!

Clear title * Mileage 33 will be TMU on title due to age of vehicle / 5-digit odometer / odometer replacement

No Reserve, Bid to Buy!

*ATTN: CLASSIC CAR BUYERS*

A lot of our out of state customers ask if these cars can be driven long distance * We stress that it is best to have these cars transported to your area * These are classic cars and do not get many miles put on them from year to year * We strongly recommend transport to your mechanic that you know and trust to do a complete safety inspection on the vehicle * Your local U Haul can rent you a trailer and truck reasonably priced * We do this for your safety and convenience * Many of these cars were not designed to travel on interstates and turnpikes at high rates of speed when they were new
