Description of 1929 Ford Model A

I am writing this up and listing it for a friend who is one heck of a car builder. but can't turn on a computer to save his life! I am serious. he does not even own a computer! He does know how to build Hot Rods and has been doing it for 50 plus years. He has been a race car driver. builder and sponsor. so like I said. he knows cars. I can only tell you what I know. He has done work on my brothers 57 Chevy and 67 Malibu. Unbelievable! He is building me a 69 SS 396 as you read this. I have three other collector cars in line for his touch. So I feel qualified to say he does quality work. Let me tell you what I know about the car: It is a1929 Model A steel body. with the only fiberglass being the fenders. The rumble seat was removed and an aluminum gas tank and battery installed in its place. It has two 29 Model A frames. one reversed with the body bolted on it. The front axel has a 4 inch drop. It has disc brakes on all four corners. The rear end is from a Lincoln Mark V. The motor is a Boss 302 with a C4 3 speed transmission and 2800 stall converter. It has headers. MSD Ignition and Flowmasters. Of course it is tubbed in the rear. It has a radio with CD. Power Windows and Tilt Wheel. This was built to be an old school look Hot Rod with the Power Train to get down the road quickly. It can scoot! It is a solid quality build done tastefully but not over the top. The paint job and wheels are more of a sleeper look. Paint is a matter of taste. so are wheels. If you like flames and chrome it is easy to personalize this car to your taste. The main concern of this car was safety and reliability! I would drive it anywhere. If you have question please send them to me and I will get the answers. It may take a day. but I will get them. The car is located near Conroe. Texas. Close to Houston. If you are near there it is very easy to arrange a meeting with the owner. If you would like to talk to the owner about the build and parts etc. no problem. I'm located in Arkansas but it is no problem in getting you hooked up. If you are wanting to purchase and have it shipped we will be happy to assist in loading. The car will not leave until it has been paid for and cleared. Thanks for looking and if you want an old school look but a reliable vehicle built with safety in mind. This is for you. I ran this car at $25. 00. It did not sell. I'll start at $17. 00. It will sell if you bid. You can send any questions you want. John
