The Mustang is undeniably the most legendary American Muscle Car. The first generation Mustangs achieved unprecedented success and acclaim. Many variants were offered by Ford including the infamous BOSS 302. This particular Mustang gained notoriety on the very popular TV show "OVERHAULIN" where award winning designer, Chip Foose applied his knowledge and expertise to revive this pony by teaming up with Ford Racing Performance Parts, among others, and dropping in their newly re-released Boss 302 Crate Engine. This marked the first time the legendary powerplant was used in a build. The A-Team at Overhaulin went through every inch of this car. After sandblasting was completed, new floor boards, sub frames, hood and an entire front clip were installed. The incredible paint scheme was laid down and the entire car had Dynamat installed. The Key Holes in the trunk area were removed and the hood scoop was made functional by Chip himself. The interior was completely re-done and a custom sound system was installed. In addition to the Boss 302 Crate engine, the highlight of the car is the Fully Adjustable and Independent coil-over rear suspension and 9" rear end which allows this pony to put the power down and galop like no other. Additional features include: - Keisler Transmission- Four Wheels Baer Disc Brakes with 13" Cross Drilled and Slotted Rotors and 2 Piston Calipers- 18" Foose Wheels- Aluminum Radiator- Billet Specialties Pullies- Hand Painted Graphics and custom Boss 302 Graphic- Brand New Glass- Re-Chromed Bumpers (rear one is tucked)- New Lights- New Headliner- Re-upholstered Dash, Door Panels and SeatsThis is truly a ONE OF ONE Mustang and along with the throaty sound generated by the Boss 302 Crate Engine, it constantly turns heads. All receipts, documents and collateral are included along with Chip Foose's hand drawn and signed rendering of the car. Additional show collateral and marketing materials such as magazine features and catalogs. Once the build was completed, the Mustang was sent out to GRC Performance for a full shakedown and safety inspection to ensure she is ready prance.
