Description of 1960 Ford Thunderbird

1960 Ford Thunderbird Tudor hardtop needs total restoration. nbsp;the car has not been run for about 8 yrs. Has complete drive train. carburetor is locked. Front windshield and driver side windows good (passenger side window needs to be replaced). the chrome is in good shape. all interior needs replacing but has all seats and all interior parts. It’s a southwest car so it has very few rust issues. from what I have found. it has only the rust on the hood that was there when I bought it. Bought several years ago from a gentleman that was restoring it but lost all interest when fresh out of paint booth it got hailed on. so it has hail damage (not too bad). Have all exterior trim. Ran well when stopped but I had to put it on hold so I could finish my Masters. but now am in the PhD program. I am disabled with bad health can’t handle school and trying to get back to getting car on the road. I will give someone else a chance to get her on the road before it’s too late. Buyer responsible for all shipping. I will help load. I’m 100% Disabled Army Vet but have a lot of car friends willing to help. $500 non-refundable deposit. nbsp;rest to be paid within 7 days. Must rec deposit within 48 hrs. of auction ending Willing to hold car reasonable time for shipping arrangements but must be paid in full to do so. Please let me know before hand. communication is super important. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me. When the last auction did not meet reserve I got all worked up when I checked the car out again and went after the correct interior on an Ebay auction. I won on Ebay a turquoise interior as described by the seller in the auction (auction pictures are now added): "These interior parts were purchased brand new and installed in a car. The project has sat idle for many years and the car was deemed to rusty to restore. These parts are still in very nice shape and will look great in your car. These are not absolutely perfect but in very nice used/newish shape. Metal dash frame is included. Everything you see is included. Save huge dollars. Came out of a 60 bird. " The truth is I physically can’t do the work required. the spirit wants to bad but the body just can’t. and I need to pass her on to someone that can. Icing on the cake is she now comes with a newish interior. I hope she meets the needs of someone that will get her back on the road. Thanks LuisP. S. If you watched the last auction everything is valid still so you know what I paid for it. On Nov-23-14 at 21:29:32 PST. seller added the following information:11/23/2014 10:20 PM MNT. Ebay policy does not allow me to upload pictures once bidding has begun and I am limited to sending pictures attached to individual messages. I just found this out when I attempted to upload more pictures yesterday that were requested and when I answered one question and the answer and pictures did not post to public forum. I have several pictures showing the rear end and passenger side which clearly shows that the car is in excellent condition. Also keep in mind that this car is a 1960 when cars were made from stronger gauge metal and handle hail better. They are also easier to repair. I have been informed by the bodyshop I use. I can only send pictures to individual request and have no problem doing so. so please just ask--Thank you-- Luis
