| For Sale: 1992 Ford Thunderbird. Only 25. 00 miles! Loaded! pw. dl. ilt. ruise. eather. jbl premium sound. bs. 5. 0ho auto. Everything works on the car except the a/c needs a charge (compressor kicks in still original r12). Windows and locks work and even the power antenna and original radio. Also the automatic seat belts work! Very clean car. Runs strong and shifts smooth. Still has the original hoses and clamps and original spare. Paint is original and shines nicely with the exception of the front bumper and left front fender however they are original to the car as the serial tags all match. Interior is very clean. Leather looks good with only minor wear on rear seat from young children. The car was titled in 2011 with 74. 15 miles. The second owner mistakenly thought the 1 on the odometer was a 7 and did not realize until the car turned 20. 00 that the car had such low mileage. The story with the car is that the original owner bought it brand new in 1992 when he was in his early 80s. He was a local judge at the time and had access to all the municipal cars so it laid in his garage and was used sparingly until he gave up driving and passed away at 104. If you run an auto check like I did you will see that the last reported odometer reading prior to being titled in 2011 was from 1999 where the car had only 7. 00 miles on it. There is also an old oil change sticker on the windshield that says the car was due for an oil change in 2008 at 16. 00 miles. If you do the math it makes perfectly good sense that the car really did have only 14. 00 miles at the time the car was acquired by the second owner. There is no way a man at that age is suddenly going to put 60k+ miles on a car within that time frame. If you are familiar with these cars you will know that if it really did have that many more miles the car would not be in this condition. All the stickers under the hood are nice and fresh and do not have heat damage that a higher mileage car would have. It still has the original hoses. lamps. nbsp; wires. radiator cap. and it even still has the original tag attached to the radiator that is date coded from 1992 that you can see pictured. Everything under the hood appears to be original to the car and has all the date coded stickers on it from the factory. Also if you look at the radiator you will see how clean and straight it is where a higher mileage car would have a bunch of junk in it and would have bent fins. The lower spoiler under the bumper is also perfectly straight with no markings from curbs. The original head lamps look brand new unlike other tbirds that have a yellow haze on them. Being very critical but it is a nice clean car. In conclusion this is a very nice tbird and is very rare to find one with a 5. 0 in good condition with low mileage. Perfect for someone who has an appreciation for these cars. Like a bigger mustang and is mechanically identical to one. Very reasonable price for such a low mileage car in this this condition. Get a real nice car without spending alot of money Special notes: You are welcome to see and drive the car.
