Description of 1966 Ford Mustang --

This gorgeous 1966 Ford Mustang coupe is proof that you don't need to spend a big pile of money to get a great-looking, and driving, early pony car. With an upgraded 289 V8, four-on-the-floor, GT style touches, and the perfect shade of red, this is a fun cruiser that will serve you well for years to come. Red Mustangs always instantly attract an audience, but this one does it a bit better. Its unique shade is more vivid... than even the factory's Signal Red. It gives this coupe a sporty look that is continued with GT equipment, such as the fog lamps in the grille, triple rocker stripes, and dual trumpet exhaust pipes coming through the rear valence. Overall, fit and finish is quite good, making it the kind of car you want to drive around and show off. Chrome is bright, the stainless has been polished, and all the little trim pieces are in place, right down to the proper Mustang badges. In fact, the only modern upgrade you'll notice immediately are the shining 17-inch alloys, but they're the kind of addition that just goes so well with this coupe's bright personality. This special feeling continues inside. A black interior is always desirable in a red exterior, and this one really goes the extra mile. It starts with the bucket seats that feature the desirable premium "Pony" package. Your left hand is immediately attracted to the wood and chrome three-spoke sports steering wheel, and your right one will never want to leave the stick shift. And because this is a manual transmission, you'll love the upgrade to the rare Rally-Pac that gives you a column-mounted clock and tach â€" both working perfectly. This one impresses under the hood, too. The yellow wires contrast nicely against the big blue block and valve covers. And we all love the look of the Monte Carlo bar across the engine bay. Plus, the Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor allows the 289 V8 to inhale deeply. And the long tube headers add even more power as they contribute to the rumbling dual exhaust. Out on the road, this enhanced V8 feels great - especially because you have full control over it with the smooth shifting four-speed manual transmission controlled by a newly-added hurst shifter and actuated by a freshly installed clutch. Plus, power steering, a thick sway bar, front disc brakes, and the grip of modern performance tires all contribute to one of the best classic pony car feelings around. The suspension has been recently gone though, along with a slight suspension drop for that "look" everyone is after. When you look at all the eye-catching features and great upgrades, you soon realize that this iconic coupe should cost a lot more. That's why you know you need to hurry to grab this deal. Call now!
