Description of 1947 Ford Super Deluxe chrome

This beautiful 1947 Ford Super Deluxe is an eye-catcher. I bought it from a person whose father owned it for 25 years. It was garage kept. Engine was completely rebuilt by DON GARLITS himself at his museum in Ocala, FL. Along with the sale of the car, I have a journal of everything Don Garlits did to the car showing a total rebuild. Also there is a picture of the last page of the journal. All the parts around the engine were powder coated by Don Garlits. The carburetor was rebuilt to new originals specs. The water pump, the generator, the starter were sent out by Don Garlitz to have them totally rebuilt. The car was also totally rewired. There is new rubber on the running boards. You have four new extra wide white-walled radial tires by Diamond Tire Company. There is also a brand new fifth wheel in the trunk. The car was also totally reupholstered with headliner, carpet, seat covers and trunk. The dash gauges were replaced with new ones. Heater works like it should. It is all chrome. It has a new clutch, throw out bearing, and pressure plate. It has the original chrome visor. Wiper motor is new. The seat belts were put in. The list goes on and on. This car is in very nice shape. It has less than 100 miles put on it since it was totally completed. The dash. the bumpers, and the stone shields on the back fender are fully chrome and in very nice condition. All the axles and bearings were greased. The undercarriage was all gone through and anything that needed to be replaced was replaced. All the paper work will be included. The journal tells all about the engine--it is very early, 1947. In the journal Don Garlits wrote everything that he had done. He wrote that the motor is 100 horsepower. If you would like to call him, I don't think he would mind. The reason I'm selling this beauty is that I am 73 years old, I just moved, and it's just sitting in the garage taking up space. It needs a new home!
