Description of 1965 Ford Mustang Coupe

1965 Mustang Coupe for parts or restore.
Conditions of sale: Buyer must have method to pickup vehicle ( flat-bed service or Tow truck ). Vehicle is located in New Bern, N.C., Vehicle must be picked up within 2 weeks of purchase. All parts, many of which are new - must be taken with the car. No Credit cards, Paypal is the only method of payment. Contact me if you would like to setup an appointment to see the car prior to purchase. It is an AS-IS sale. The car has a signed-over clear New Jersey title.
Car has been a project for the last 12 years or so, has been garage the entire time. Am moving and do not have the space for the car any longer and will not finish this project. Car had a 302 engine in when I bought it - a rebuilt original 289 has been put in its place. The engine has never been turned-over and started. It has a rebuilt C4 transmission with no miles on it. A new posi rear-end and new driveshaft and bearings. The car has had a new one-piece floor pan installed. New 4-barrel carb, alternator, all hoses, bearings and gaskets. A complete new wiring harness has been installed. Radiator is new. Heater core, venting system and hoses all replaced with new. New dual bowl master cylinder, new DISC brakes in front, and drums and shoes in the back, new emergency brake and cable. All new brakes lines. New power-steering master cylinder. New Springs all the way around, new shocks and upper and lower control arms and tie-rod ends.New starter, coil, and pointless ignition. Interior dash and dashpad new. New period perfect radio with mp3 capabilities. New glove box and door. Come with an OEM original driver side rear fender and 2 original door and 2 new doors. Windshield is new and no chips or scratches. All glass is with the car, as are the seat belts. Car comes with many, many NEW parts not installed including new grill and all parts for the nose reconstruct including trim and lettering, new gas cap, emblems etc etc etc. All seat come with the car as well as new seat upholestry and foam batting, and headliner not yet installed. New not yet installed carpet underlayment. I am sure there is a whole mess of stuff I am leaving out, like I said there is many parts in boxes that have never seen the light of day that come with the car.
Done with it as a project, and have no home for it now -- so if someone is interested in it to continue the restore or for parts then see the conditions of sale above - don't believe you will be disappointed.
