Description of 1962 Ford Galaxie

This is a beautiful looking Galaxie convertible. The body is in very nice condition. the pics speak for themselves. Has lots of custom modifications shaved emblems. shaved door handles. rolled trunk lid. All the side trim is in beautiful shape and shines up nice Grill and headlights are also in very nice condition. no dents. Bumpers are shiny with no pits. Has bullet Shelby side mirrors. Tailight bezels are dent free and have 63xl tailights with bullet centers Body is very straight and shows minimal signs of wear. Doors open and close with no sagging and all the lines on the car line up very nice. Older two tone paint is in good shape. and buffs up beautifully. It is a very nice driver quality restoration. The convertible top is in great shape with no rips and the hydraulics work just fine. All the weatherstrip was replaced for the top and the doors. It has new shocks all around and lots of new suspension pieces. If anything ever needed replacing it got replaced. Car is lowered all around and drives soft and smooth and doesnt bottom out. Has power steering and manual brakes that stop as they should. Vehicle is always maintained as needed. tI has a nice running 390 FE Big Block with an electronic ignition. Edelbrock Intake and carb. It has a dual exhaust that isnt to loud. and a three speed cruise-o-matic that shifts very nice. The dash is all custom with aftermarket guages that all work. Car does have electric door solenoids that are not working and may or may not be fixed by the end of this auction(mechanic that installed them says it may just be the relay. but I can not confirm) The interior is in nice shape with decent carpet and seating. It is missing the both kick panels. The car comes with a nice set of 18 grey Mustang bullet wheels with brand new tires not the steelies (will post updated pic soon) Car is driven a lot and cruises on the highway really smooth. very laid back relaxed driving car. All questions will be answered in a timely manner and vehicle is available for inspection. Good luck. This is a great buy. Also. I just spent over $2. 00 overhauling the engine.
