Description of 1975 Ford F-100 f100

An old guy from Sullivan IL brought this back from Arizona about 2 years ago. It's an old hunting and fishing truck that has absolutely no rust or rot in any body panel or frame or anything. It has a good set of tires. exhaust. brakes and battery. The 302 runs rich when it is cold and better after that with a transmission that shifts good every time. The thermostat housing gasket is starting to leak and the engine needs a tune up but doesn't smoke or anything like that. I've driven this about 5. 00 miles in the last 1 1/2 years with no problems and made a few long road trips but it would be safer to have it shipped unless you're not too far away. There are 3 gas tanks but i only use 2 of them. You will need to install a back window if you remove the camper. It is starting to leak inside the camper above the front of the bed. The Camper swing out door needs turnbuckles or a better locking mechanism than it has now if you're not tossing it out. The door is loose and bangs around when driving. The front bumper and grill is dinged up. It looks like the right front bumper has pushed into the lower fender at some point and there has been a little body work there. The driver side lower rear bedside has been pushed in as pictured. That will need to be straightened up along with the steel rod support that holds it in place. This is our shop truck but we got a newer van so time for Whitey Ford to find a new home. Starting bid at $1500. which is a lot less than i paid but we got some good use out of this truck while it was here. I won't end the auction early if there are bids on the truck. I'm open to offers any time as long as there is not a bid yet. You can pick it up in Springfield IL or us Uship or similar logistics companies to arrange shipping. I used Corsia Logistics recently and that worked out great for me. Call anytime with questions 217. 827. 1173. Images added of the cab corners. floor pans and under side. It is rock solid with no rot and good strong original metal everywhere with no thin or weak areas. Weather stripping is gone from the doors so the glass rattles.
