I picked this 1954 Ford Sunliner up in Texas approximately 15 years ago after it sat in a field for many years. It's been garage kept ever since I've owned it.I've replaced all the rust with 1954 Customline sheet metal where possible. The other replacement panels were stamped sheet metal formed off original machines here in the USA.It has 1956 Ford Power steering, Mummert's aluminum intake, Demon carb, new gas tank, new wire harness from Concours Parts in Nevada and many new or rebuilt original parts. All the glass is original except the front windshield. I have many of the stainless steel trim parts but the trim is not complete. The radio & clock deletes are original Ford parts but I have the clock and radio to go with the car. This car is very complete but needs to be restored and the body work finished.The roof frame needs a repair, hydraulic cylinders, lines and a new top.The rear seat is from a 1954 Customline but can be cut and modified to fit the Sunliner. I will include many more original parts that go with the car, including a 1954 239 Y block, another 1954 rear end.This car is nearly complete but needs to be finished. It probably isn't a good candidate to be a perfect restoration vehicle but it is an awesome custom or near restored car that gets looks even in this rough condition. And it's so fun to drive around town!
