Hello... Up for bid is a beautiful 1966 Ford Fairlane 500 2 Door Fastback. It is equipped with a 289CI High Performance V8 engine and Automatic Transmission. It runs nice and starts up smooth. Automatic transmission shifts good. It has rides smooth down the road and is a great cruiser! It does seem to have play in the steering wheel, maybe just old car with manual steering. It is a nice driver quality car that is a great investment! This is a fan favorite body style and a highly sought after year! It looks nice and was repainted about 5 years ago. The dark blue metallic paint is beautiful and has a mirror finish. The car does have some minor blemishes as expected of classic vehicles but it looks nice and is always complimented. I was told the body has some filler that was used before painting. The body is straight and looks nice. The glass looks good. Chrome is original and shows some pitting, front bumper has a little fading. Car has a nice stance and sitting on chrome Cragar wheels. The interior is in good condition and shows well. The seats are in nice condition and is a nice two-tone blue. The door panels look nice as well. Headliner and carpet present well. Dash appears to be original and has some cracks on the middle vent. The engine compartment shows very nice and looks great. The underside had a couple rust spots patched as most do on floors. This car gets attention and compliments wherever it goes.
