Up for sale is a 1940 ford standard sedan, built to resemble the look of southern California hot rod from the early 1950's. The car has a 1949 mercury engine with dual exhaust, stock column shift transmission and a stock rear end. The front and rearleafsprings have been re ached to lower the vehicle a few inches. Wheels and tires are 15 inch mercury's with big and little white wall tires with Oldsmobile hub caps. Some of the recent work that has ben done includes, rebuilt master cylinder, wheel cylinders, battery, battery cables, headlight trim, hood latch, grill center and exhaust. This was a southern car that has had minimal rust over the years. front fenders, hood, doors and many body are in very nice shape. The car runs and drives but could use a ounce over before hitting the highway! I have a clean and current title in my name that matches the vin number on the frame.
