Description of 1989 Ford F-150 XLT Lariat

Just lowered the price from $12,500. Make a reasonable offer and this truck will be yours. 1989 Ford F-150 XLT Lariat 5.0L EFI standard cab long bed dual 19 gallon tanks. This truck never smokes. Tons of work done in last 18 months. Truck is ready to go. Wife cut purse strings because I replaced so many parts, only 2 things to be done, 1 bald spot in carpet between driver door and seat, shown In pictures. It was like that when i got it, and seat is in fine shape just real thin on driver side, so I put a saddle blanket seat cover to protect the foam and integrity of the seat. It's good the way it is but if you are OCD, that's all it needs. A friend is giving me a 1957 Chevrolet so i'm selling this one. After turning in the plates, it had a high idle problem so i put a new computer and all 3 solenoid vacuum electric sensors ( I think they are called TABS and TADS) that control the new EGR valve system. High idle problem now seems to be fixed. It hasn't been on the road since new computer install. So computer will take a little time to relearn driver habits and settings. Some times on cold start, it idles a little erratic, I Looked up instructions and they say to kill it and leave key off 10 seconds then cut key on 10 seconds then restart, to help computer learn TPS closed throttle plate position. On 2nd start it idles down to a smooth even idle @ 750 RPM. I ran it around the block and it runs just fine. It says it needs about a week's worth of daily driving to completely relearn all settings. I have an extra throttle body also that i took off another truck and some other misc. parts that will come with the truck. Next truck is already on it's way. Need this one gone fellas! I will work with your transport trucking firm. And i can hold truck for a small amount of time but you must arrange this with me.
