Amazing zero-rust 1963 Ford F100 short bed truck for sale. Second owner since 1970, original and well-cared for all its' life. Local history literally since new: This was local-dealership Francis Ford's in-house courtesy shop truck, special-ordered with the optional Cruise-o-Matic automatic transmission and the bullet-proof 223 cubic inch straight six engine; economical and easy to drive. Other neat features are the original heavy-duty Barden rear bumper, painted front bumper with bumper guards, Camper Special mirrors, factory AM radio, cab running lights, heater, and more. The truck was babied and used in-house only until it was sold to an employee in 1970. The truck has remained a local light-duty driver ever since. VERY well-maintained, literally starts, runs, and drives like new. One older repaint in original Bright Red, no rust-through to be found, beautiful unmolested interior, super straight, great trim, original spare tire carrier and mounted spare, more, more, more. Paint is still shiny, small dings and scratches, but never any wrecks or major repairs. The only evidence of rust at all is very minor paint blister above the roof drip rail in one small spot (pictured). Straight and good-looking, as you can see.

Factory 223 cubic inch straight six runs perfectly, truly as well as new and as smooth as a sewing machine. Fresh tune up parts and a rebuilt original carb make starting easy, and driving a pleasure. The classic painted dash, trim, and all the little bits are just so nice. ALL the interior and courtesy lights work, all the factory gauges and warning lights work. Turn signals, brake lights, license plate light work.Even the horn and original radio still work! The wiper switch has been augmented with an under-dash intermittent/delay switch for convenience. You won't find a nicer survivor in this price range.

The factory Cruise-o-Matic automatic transmission has just been serviced, and new shifter precision parts have been upgraded to provide positive, precise shifting. The brakes are perfect, and unless you plan to run her around corners at 100 MPH, the suspension and steering are more than adequate; the truck tracks down the freeway at 60+ without a wobble or weave, steers smoothly and predictably, and does not pull at all during braking.Newer battery, new fuel pump, rebuilt carb, new belt and hoses, more.

Glass is GREAT, all windows roll up and down smoothly, door hinges are tight, doors open and close just about as well as new. Just a great classic truck... if you ever thought about owning a truck like this, this is the one.

Clear title in hand, $12,500.00 cash buys her. Call Tim at 360-936-9257 to set something up.

While every effort has been made to describe the vehicle as accurately as possible, it is in fact a 56-year-old classic truck, and therefore being sold as-is, without warranty or guarantee expressed, written, or implied. These classics are somewhat primitive by today’s standards, and as an old, used vehicle things can happen. While extremely sound, expect minor issues associated with a survivor vehicle of this age and era.
