I'm listing this car for a friend who has no internet service. He is finally letting this old girl go, he has had it since his high school days. It is a true GT model with a rare 3 speed manual transmission. Factory "A" code 289ci, 225hp engine.During the restoration the 289 engine block was swapped with a 302, keeping the 289 heads .Some of the "options" on the car were the AM-FM radio, dual mirrors, white Pony interior and white pony floor mats. It has the original spinner hub caps.and original owners manual is intact showing the service work performed. Also the vehicle has been in the same family 44 of its 54 yr life. Dave sold it in 80 and bought it back in 90.It has very low miles since the rebuild, (1,200 miles) and is quick. You should be able to drive it anywhere with confidence.The best guess is that there were only 15,000 GT models made in '65. The GT exhaust system is new, the under body was finished and has always been under coated.We couldn't get photos of the underneath because we are both too old and stiff to get down that low but it is very clean and solid.
