Description of 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1

GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this immaculate '69 Ford Mustang. This exceptional vehicle comes in a gorgeous blue paint job complimented by a clean black interior and just the right amount of chrome. Powering this highly desirable Mustang is believed to be the original 351ci V8 motor with an upgraded 4 barrel carburetor mated to a smooth shifting automatic transmission. A full restoration to include the powertrain is believed to have been completed on the vehicle. Based on... the vehicles appearance and operation this does seem to be the case. Features of the Mustang include power front disc brakes, power steering, working heat and more. This rare Mustang is truly a sign to be seen. It has been in the loving care of its current owner for the past 12 years and now has finally come to market. So, if you're looking for a mean machine sure to turn some heads, this Ford is for you. Please call or email us today for more information. The first-generation Ford Mustang was manufactured by Ford from March 1964 until 1973. The introduction of the Mustang created a new class of automobile known as the pony car. The Mustang's styling, with its long hood and short deck, proved wildly popular and inspired a host of competition. It was initially introduced on April 17, 1964, as a hardtop and convertible with the fastback version put on sale in August 1964. At the time of its introduction, the Mustang, sharing its underpinnings with the Falcon and was slotted into a compact car segment. Starting in 1969, to aid sales and continue the winning formula of the Mustang, a variety of new performance and decorative options became available, including functional (and non-functional) air scoops, cable and pin hood tie downs, and both wing and chin spoilers. Additionally, a variety of performance packages were introduced that included the Mach 1, the Boss 302, and Boss 429.
