Description of 1975 Ford Bronco

This is a Serious Bronco. Up for sale is my personal 1975 Fuel injected Ford Bronco. Every component of this truck has been touched. It’s the real deal. Dual purpose. Built for the street. trail and to look amazing. Motor and Trans Swap. New interior. New Paint. DVD Stereo. Wheels. Brakes. Suspension. Steering. Lockers. Axles. Drive line. Fuel system (tank and pump). MOTOR The previous owner rebuilt the Fuel Injected 351. (topped off with a SVT Cobra Mustang intake and tuned efi computer)! Complete Roller motor with hypereutectic pistons and cobra cam with approximately 2500 miles on rebuild (no leaks). The truck is equipped with true dual exhaust including stainless headers. The motor has a fresh oil change. performed this week. TRANSMISSION Automatic Overdrive transmission from Art Carr AOD! With 284 planetary gears and extreme clutch pack Trans-go shift kit with Atlas adapter to Dana 20 with twin sticks. Also completely rebuilt by PO and includes a Trans cooler and Ron Davis aluminum radiator. Great set up. no leaks. SUSPENSION Wild Horses progressive front coils and full rear leafs 4. 5 lift with 2" body – good stance. The truck has brand new shocks from James Duff and brand new steering stabilized from wild horses. Up graded Dana 44 Front axle including beefer F150 knuckles with disc brakes (new brake pads) and 456 gears. It has tough axle shafts from ‘Yukon’ which are chrome Molly with lockers! From ‘Trac Loc’. Has Severe duty M&M hubs. The rear is a 9" nodular axel which also has 456 gears and upgraded ‘Yukon’ chrome Molly axle shafts with Heavy duty Detroit drive shaft with Spicer CV joints. Every component is upgraded…The Bronco does not have too firm of a suspension. some broncos bounce down the road. this is more a softer feel. which is better for offroad and comfort on the road. I did consider running dual front shocks. which depending on your use. you may also consider (would firm up the front end during at speed turning). The tires have balanced and received an alignment. STEERING For better handling it has raised tie rods and lowered drag link with James Duff radius arms. The truck has upgraded power steering including James duff quick steer and Saginaw pump and new lower steer shaft with borgeson joints from Wild horses. It drives straight down the road. it handles well. It does not have death wobble nor do you have to fight it down the road… I drive it up and down the highway at speed – with one hand. INTERIOR The interior dash and doors have also been repainted to match the exterior. The Dash is topped off with nice aluminum panels and exposed stainless fasteners. The bronco has a push start ignition and new ignition switch and keys. I installed new sunpro gauges for temp and fuel level. and the stock speedometer works. (I also have matching oil and voltage gauges to include – not installed). The bronco has brand new smittybuilt seats front and rear (rear tumbles out of the way). Also has brand new shoulder seat belts. which can become lap belts only. the rear has a lap belt too. The center console locks and is Tuffy. I installed a new Boss DVD. blue tooth. touch screen CD player which powers new kicker 4. 5” speaker pods mounted on the floor and the new wake board tower 6” speakers on the rear roll bar; sounds good. clear and loud. I also installed new dash pad. new door panels and wiper motor cover (and wipe motor lowering bracket for bikini top). The roll cage is a built 6 point style. EXTERIOR Brand new paint and body work. no rust! New inner floor pans. Less work went into the hard top paint job. but it too is fresh. I choose the paint job to fit this vehicle. It is definitely at home on the trails. so I didn’t want to overdo the paint job (like a show quality). which would detour me from using it on my local trails. It is a good driver quality. with a good gloss and shine. There and a few imperfections. such as two scratches on the hood. evident in the pictures. I’m an idiot and closed the garage door with the hood up. I used matching touch up paint. and I think its fine. I installed new chrome door handles and new chrome side mirrors. Running the top adds additional weather stripping. so the passenger door is tight and the handle can be tough to open. An average strength man can open it without a problem. I just mention it because I have to open the door for my wife. who is petite. The bronco also has the rare aluminum trim package around all the windows. which gives a nice touch of contrast (also around the tail lights). The truck is sitting on 18’ Ballistic wheels. wrapped in 35” open country tires. three of which have great tread. one starting to run low. These tires came off another one of my trucks. so the uneven wear is from that vehicle. The Bronco has matching front and rear bumpers. equipped with a Warn Winch and swing away stare tire carrier. The rear has a receiver hitch and trailer light plug. . /p> OTHER All lights work; hazards. blinkers. headlights and highbeam (I did not replace the harness. just trouble shot a few existing wiring problems. such as grounds). Emergency brake works. The horn works (the steering wheel is missing the center “ford” decal-I’ll come up with a solution). the windshield wipers work (new blades) and have two speeds. The heater turns on. the core gets hot. and the motor makes noise. but it is not blowing (I just noticed this-I'll investigate and report back)The speedo works and temp and fuel level. others are not installed. The door locks and keys work. so too does the hard top hatch (the hatch weather stripping in the back hatch has some white over spray). This is my personal bronco. and I have worked tirelessly getting it complete and done right. I drive it often and enjoy it. Obviously this is a used vehicle so there is no expressed or implied warrantee. I basically did a frameon restorationrefreshed of an older frame off restoration (the motor swap and axles were already installed. I did everything else). I hope I captured everything. feel free to ask questions if I missed anything or clarification is needed. Thanks -Casey
