Description of 1970 Ford Ranchero GT

Up for auction today. I have a 1970 Ford Ranchero GT which is 1 of only 78 made with this engine and transmission. It has a J code 429 CJ Ram Air with 4 speed transmission and 3. 50 Tractionlok N case differential with 31 spline axles. all of which are original to vehicle. It also has a dealer-installed AC. manual drum brakes. and manual steering. This vehicle has the factory tachometer and still has the rev limiter. The seat has been reupholstered. but the interior needs some work. The car does have some rust in the floor boards and bottom of front fenders and a little in the bed. *See pictures. * The shaker air cleaner assembly is in good condition. but needs hood seal. The flapper diaphragm is still good. Car and drivetrain is 98% complete with the carburetor and Z-bar pivot the only things I know of that are missing. This car was sold and has spent its entire life within 8 miles of where I live. Now for the engine: The engine has been rebuilt. Block was bored . 030 with stock type sealed power forged pistons and rings. Crankshaft is . 010R/. 010M with federal mogul bearings. It has a crane hydraulic cam with close to factory specs. Heads have been rebuilt with stainless steel valves. Engine is still on engine stand and has never been started. Look carefully at the pictures.
