*******. *************************1940 Ford Coupe. This auction is for a original steel 1940 Ford coupe with title, this is a project and will need a complete restoration. The body is in good condition for its age and location, All parts are useable but are 79 years old, with that said the body itself has had some repairs made over time and will need some repair or adjustments and body work to prepare it for paint. It has had floor and trunk floor replaced. The doors and fenders were blasted and painted with a low quality paint or primer that will need to be removed before and further bodywork is done. I would have the entire body and panels blasted. The drivers door will need adjustment as it does not fit nicely in my opinion and will need some adjustment at hinges or cowl. I have taken pictures to show misallignment. This is a very solid project that has all the critical pieces. I do not have any interior other than the dash panel and instrument cluster.THe rear fenders are decent with the driver side being the better of the two, passenger side rear was trimmed at the rear opening and a patch was poorly installed. Trunk lid is decent but will need attention at the bottom rear pinch weld area. Running boards are straight and solid. The frame is an original Ford frame and is solid but should be inspected to ensure straightness, these frames are getting harder to find that are not bent or rusted. this frame is soild but I would have a frame shop verify the straightness as these have been around 79 years and who knows what they may have seen or done. I have an orignal transmission that is included as well as an extra firewall section and bumpers. I have a bonded Minnesota title that I have gone thru the bonding process and have all paperwork to go along with it. If you are not familiar Minnesota has the option to title vehicles that have lost titles and in three years time the title will then be consider a normal title. I have done this many times and it has worked very well. It is titled as a 1940 ford coupe please see pics for further detail. I have shown pics of all the parts that I have for this car all are included. The vehicle is currently bolted together for transport. I will pack all parts in side securely for transport. I will work with buyer on shipping as long as the vehicle is paid for in full within 72 hours of the auction ending. Buyer must remove this vehicle from my property within 2 weeks of the auction end, if not the buyer will be billed $25 per day storage and attorneys fees as they will receive a bill directly from my attorneys office. I will sell this internationally as long as it is paid in full in 72 hours and is removed from my property within 2 weeks. Please ask questions and read the ad in its entirety.
