1968 Ford Mustang Convertible with a C4 Automatic Transmission... Very original and unmolested Car, that will need some cosmetics to bring it back to its Glory.
Car runs and drives perfectly fine and everything is there, The 289 cui V8 engine received some mild upgrades like a 4 Barrel Carburetor, an Edelbrook Intake and some Stainless Steel headers. The engine fires right up and runs very strong. The C4 Automatic Transmission shifts perfectly fine through all gears. Runs, drives and brakes with no issues.these are drum brakes would recommend disc update
Car came from the Factory in Raven Black (A), what makes it very unique and rare for a convertible. At some point in it's history it received a not so perfect repaint in Ford Clearwater Aqua. The Exterior would definitely appreciate a return to the factory Raven Black and some new trim and other miscellaneous items that deteriorated over the time.
The interior and the top are in decent shape with no rips or tears. Factory Radio (not working) is still in the car and everything looks pretty much original. This Mustang has the Marti Report with it, please look at the pictures for further Info.
Also it comes with a folder full of service history and repair bills topping $20k !!!
So, for all the Bargain hunters out there. This is not your $45k Show quality car. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for and it's not different with this one. If you look for a decent driver quality Mustang, that you would like to spend a mild restoration on, or you are looking for a Father and Son Project this car is for you.
