Description of 1984 Ford Escort

1984 Escort Diesel The car was originally from the Seattle. Washington area. The shock towers and rockers are in good condition. There is a small amount of rust on the floor pan. The body panels are not perfect but have no rust holes. The hood and roof have some dents. The body seam on the deck lid has rust. The engine runs good. I just put a valve cover gasket on it. The injection pump and injectors were rebuilt a year ago. It has had a water pump and timing belts put on it a couple years ago. The tires need to be replaced due to dry rotting. It has a couple of new tie rods on it. The car needs some TLC but runs and drive good. I have extra parts for the diesel Escort or Tempo that I am willing to part with. I am a retired Ford Dealership mechanic and I have owned 6 of these diesel Escorts and Tempos. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to call. Please no texts. I also have a 1993 Taurus SHO that I have converted with a 2 litre diesel Escort power train. It needs to be finished. It is a project car. We can package deal both cars and all spare parts.
