Description of 1931 Ford Model A Vicky

The 1931 Ford Model A "Vicky" Victoria was all about adding some styling class to the Ford lineup. So to find a steel-bodied custom machine with shining custom paint, a comfy A/C interior, upgraded motor, and overdrive transmission means it's upholding the Ford tradition while providing you with a modern and comfortable custom build.

Someone took extra time when creating this one. Green Sail was never on the Ford color pallet in the '30s, and so this bold one announces its custom appearance from blocks away. And its fine shine loves to highlight the quality of the steel body. The black canvas roof is a great addition because it has a distinct contrast to the green while also coordinating with pieces like the body seams, full-size spare, and rubber on the running boards. There's terrific detail work, too, like how the Cragar SS wheels have body-colored inserts. And there's gray pinstriping that also coordinates with the custom '31 Vicky graphics in front of the doors.

The interior is more of a reminder of how thoughtful this build is. There's more green inside, but it's a deeper color that compliments the tasteful black accents. The seats are far plusher than anything you got in the '30s. They are supple leather with striped cloth inserts that coordinate with the door panels and dash. Plus, your seat has a ton of bolstering and is even power adjustable. So you can see they made this to be all-day comfortable. More of this upgraded comfy feeling comes from features like cold-blowing air conditioning, an AM/FM/CD stereo w/modern USB input, and there's even a classic CB radio. You get a black and chrome sports steering wheel on a tilt column, and beyond that, the dash is dominated by a full gauge package - including a large speedo and tach.

Ford's 3.8-liter V6 is ready to be on display with its bright accessories and color-matched compressor and firewall. A motor upgrade like this is all about giving you a smooth powerplant, and it even makes a nice tune out of the dual exhaust.
