Description of 1963 Ford Thunderbird

THERE IS NO AIR CONDITIONING IN THIS VEHICLE. I make that stand out because the last time it was rebuilt the dash panel and ducting on the interior was from an air conditioned T-Bird however there was no compressor under the hood. Since it had the venting inside we were debating about putting in the compressor under the hood and add it but just never got that far.

MOSTLY body work and paint is all that is needed to complete this restoration. Wiring under dash needs completed and I would have it tuned up.

I've been working on the project for 3 years off and on. Recent job change doesn't allow any time to complete. The interior has be reworked (new headliner, soundproofing and carpet very good upholstery. New 4bbl Holley, fuel pump, battery, steering gearbox, upgraded fuse box to modern fuses, most lights have been upgraded to led's, new badges, new stainless steel floor boards, new front shocks, new rear air shocks that can be adjusted by valve under rear bumper).
to my knowledge all that is needed to complete the project is (finish wiring of dash to the new fuse box, replace both rear quarter panels, 4 small rust spots at the base of the top (see photos) and paint. We were going to paint it the new Ford Metallic deep red but the color can be your choice.)

Outstanding steering as it is all new. Floats down Interstate.

I've had it sitting for a about 9mo. so it would probably need a good tune up.

Of course is Sold AS IS and no warranty. Odo shows 60k but I'm sure it's more

It appears this car was rebuilt in the 1990's. Originally bought in AZ til 90's then sold to WI and in approx. 2014 to Chicago IL. I bought about 2015 and drove it in from Chicago to Nashville TN where it is now.

Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping. My experience has been that shipping is the better option for classic cars and do recommend that way if possible.
