Up for auction is a 3 year ground up restoration of a 1970 Ford F100 4X4 Step side. This truck was completely tore down to every nut and bolt and the work on this truck is second to none. The truck wasn’t restored 100% back to factory specs by choice. I wanted the truck to look pretty much original but with some added upgrades and changes for looks as well as drive ability and reliability. I believe there is no finer F100 4x4 in existence. The provided pictures speak for themselves for thequality of work that was completed on this vehicle and it’s amazing condition. I have all the receipts for the work and parts that were purchased to complete this amazing truck. The restorer, the late Mr. Oliver of Chiefland, Florida, only took on one project at a time and put his heart and soul into his work.There is not a spec of bondo patching on this truck. All rust was fixed by replacing the metal. The lines and seams on this truck are straighter than how it came from the factory in 1970. All the wiring, rubber hoses, fuel lines, vacuum lines, brake lines, rubber seals, molding, bushings, grommets, driveshafts, and suspension components are brand new. The interior was also completely redone from top to bottom. All new carpet, seat upholstery, seat foam/padding, seatbelts, door panels, dash pad, Auto-Meter gauges, and headliner were installed in the process. Even the factory steering wheel was restored to complete the beautifully done interior. All of the glass and windows are perfect as are the new window felts and molding.The truck has only 1573 miles on her since the restoration was completed and most of those were to shows or local cruise ins.
