Notice to Bidders:

• The vehicles we list for sale at eBay are also for sale at our retail location. Please contact us to confirm vehicle availability because we do rotate our inventory frequently and site synchronization is not 'real-time'.

• To confirm availability, please see our contact information at the bottom of these required notices.

• We reserve the right to end an auction or remove a vehicle from eBay early, even it not sold locally.
  

Shipping:

We will provide assistance in obtaining transporation and shipping within the continental 48 United States and internationally.

Although we are not a licensed shipper, we do have long-standing logistics relationships with reputable transporters and a licensed broker who facilitates all transport for us and our clients.

As a courtesy to you, we will provide all necessary purchase and sale documents to you via email or overnight mail when required, together with the best shipping quote sourced through our trusted national shipping/logistics network.

Prices will vary and are dependent upon this and other factors including: location of the delivery, its ease of access and distance from established highway routes,the type of shipment requested (either open, covered or container). We will provide you a quote from only licensed, bonded and insured shippers who provides the lowest bid.

From time of good funds receipt of proceeds from purchase/sale, expect 1-2 business days for service inspection and maintenance to be preformed pre-shipment. Thereafter, note that shipment times to your door, for those who reside on the Eastern side of the U.S., averages 2-5 business days; and to the West, can be as many as 10 business days from the time of purchase/good funds receipt.

We offer this as a courtesy, but is not a requirement of sale. You are welcome to source your own transportation or pick-up your newly purchased vehicle from our location.

Pre-Shipping Inspection & Maintenance Service:

We promise to perform a regular maintance service pre-shipment, within two (2) business days from the date of good funds receipt of proceeds, if such maintenance service has not already been performed within the thirty days prior to your purchase.

We will also inspect your vehicle pre-shipment to ensure that your vehicle runs well and has no safety issues or major service requirements. In the event that our service team discovers any issue that would keep you from driving your vehicle normally and safely, we will contact you immediately and discuss the options for repair, and if you elect repairs, the estimated time for same, or a purchase/sale cancellation.

Please contact our Office Administrator for confirmations on after sale inspection results and shipping estimates, for more specific information.

Insurance:

• Within 48 hours of purchase of your vehicle, you will be required to contact your insurance company and obtain a binder for insurance coverage pre-shipment.

• You must also provide your policy number to our Title Clerk or Finance Director prior to Bill of Sale and document completion, in order to process your Temporary Operating Permit/Tag.
  

Deposit Requirement:

• We require a non-refundable $500 deposit within 24 hours of winning an auction. If not received, the sale will be cancelled.

Payment Acceptance:

We accept the following forms of payment: Cash in person, certified funds, institutional financing.

• All sales transactions must be completed within 3 business days of auction or sale close, and no more than 7 business days if being financed.

• Prices are subject to change without notice.

• We reserve the right to refuse to sell a vehicle to any person who does not meet legal requirements, or who does not pass the required OFAC database checks (see below for more information on Identification Requirements).

Customer responsibilities:

Although every effort is made to present accurate and reliable vehicle information, use of this information is voluntary, and should only be deemed reliable after an independent review of its accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to verify the existence of options, accessories and the vehicle condition before time of sale. Any and all differences must be addressed prior to time of sale.

Warranties:

• No expressed or implied warranties, including the availability or condition of the equipment listed is made. EPA mileage estimates are for comparison purposes only. Actual mileage may vary depending on driving conditions, driving habits, exempt mileage reporting standards in state of vehicle registry, and vehicle maintenance.

• We do sell used cars, but specifically choose only those cars we consider classics, and which have the best chance at increasing in value and have the best chance of becoming a valuable 'investment' for our customers. We cannot guarantee any market rate increases, just as we cannot predict the stock market, but after 57 years we have developed a keen sense about the cars we choose to sell and are certain you will be happy with your purchase.

• Athough our in-house service staff has been with us for more than a decade and are highly trained,we cannot make cars new again... but, we do commit to only selling you a car that we would allow our mother to drive.

• We also cannot prevent any future occurences, or gaurantee that anyone will drive or maintain the vehicle safely and operate it in accordance with manufacturer's suggestions, andunless we agree in writing otherwise, we only offer an AS-IS warranty,
  

Identification Verification:

In order to comply with Federal Lawwe must request a copy of your driver's license or passport in advance of finalizing any purchase and sale. You may take a digital image with your phone and fax it to (404) 858-5510 or scan and email it to automemoriesclassiccars@gmail.com. You must also provide us with the last 4 digits of your social security number if a US resident. A passport is also acceptable if you are outside of the U.S.

This information will be entered into our encrypted Dealer management software which interfaces with the US Treasury Department and will compare that data to the international terror watch/sanctions list. If you are on that list, we cannot sell you a car.

NOTICE TO BUYERS ON COLLECTION OF FEES & TAXES

Some or all of the following fees and taxes may be charged: State or local taxes, title, license fee, processing fees, registration fee, finance charges, and compliance fees are in addition to the advertised price.

For Georgia Buyers:

• If you are a purchaser RESIDING within the State of Georgia, as a licensed georgia Dealer, we are required to collect the State Ad Valorem Tax, Title, Tag and registration fees at time of sale.

• Presently, the maximum Ad Valorem tax rate in Georgia for residents is 7% of the vehicle's fair market value, but which value is determined using a calculation developed by the State of Georgia and only available to us using the State's mandatory Electronic Title & Registration System.

• We will provide a quote in advance of purchase upon request and for a fee of $10, which is the fee charged to us by the State for a quote.

• After your deposit is received in good funds, our Title Clerk or other Financial Officer, will prepare the Bill of Sale and other necessary forms, along with a summary of taxes and fees due and provide to you in advance of final collection.

• If you 'Buy It Now' and pre-pay in full, an invoice for the balance of any fees and taxes will be sent via email to you, and is required to be collected in advance of delivery of your vehicle.

• These mandatory fees must be paid at time of purchase before a Temporary Operating Permit and proper registration and title transfers can be done for you.

For Out-of-State or International Buyers:

• If you are not a resident of the State of Georgia, we are not required to collect sales tax, but depending on your State laws may be required to collect transfer or other related title and registration fees.

• A minimum VIN verification report fee and Title check processing fee will be charged and are third-party fees required for processing under Georgia law.

• After your deposit is collected in good funds, a Title Clerk in our office will be preparing the Bill of Sale and other necessary forms, along with a summary of any fees due. These mandatory fees must be paid at time of purchase before a Temporary Operating Permit for the vehicle can be provided.
