| 1966 Mustang Convertible 4 speed A code GT - NO RESERVE |
| This 1966 Mustang was a "Barn find" that looked like it was an extensive refurbishing project that I purchased to resell. From what I see the rear frame rails, rear quarters, outer wheels wells, torque boxes, inner rocker panels, both doors and the majority of the floors including the trunk floors were replaced or repaired. I do not see any Rust issues in this car. This vehicle has all the GT options - Disc brakes, Fog lites (with tail lite that operate with switch), Dual exhaust system with rear trumpets existing through the rear valance and rear brake hose mounted for dual exhaust, GT glove box and instrument cluster, GT gas cap, and GT badges and MUSTANG letters with strip kit. Due to the fact that the rear frame rails section were replaced - the inner brackets for the dual exhaust are not in the rear frame rails. The vehicle has 2 speed wipers, Fog lights, Power top, and 4 way flashers. The following parts I know are new: Dual exhaust system, water pump, radiator, master cylinder, export brace, brake lines and shoes, gas tank & sending unit, door panels, upholstery, carpet, most of the seals. The engine currently in the vehicle is a 1989 302 roller cam engine with a early 4 barrel intake, 1.08 4100 Ford carburetor, oil pan and distributor. The engine starts and runs well. The transmission is a wide ratio top loader Ford 4 speed with an original Ford shifter and a 8" rear end. The front brakes are 4 piston Kelsey-Hayes calipers with rear drum brakes and a late model dual master cylinder. The engine compartment and the bottom of the vehicle have been detailed and painted. The tires are mounted on 1965 Style Steel Wheels and have good tread. The currents problems I see with the vehicles are: the shifter has the wrong shifter knob ( for a full size Ford), the radio does not work - No antenna, needs well liner and the blower motor although it works it is noisy. The paint is Single stage PPG and needs to be detailed as well as the interior needs a good cleaning. This is a driver class vehicle that has all of the GT options and it is A code car that has all the body work completed and painted and needs a little tender loving care.
