| 1962 Ford F-100 LongBed StepSide w/ Hand Crank LiftMade in San Jose. CAIts been in the Bay area since 1962This car was driven by a Native American Tribe member since 1962 until his death. A year ago or so it was sold by his family to a man that intended to use it for his landscape business. so his brother can drive it. but he than he found out that his brother did not have a drivers license. The truck remained there without use until I bought it. My intention was to buy and re-sell. So theoretically this is a 1 owner car because I have only used the car for test drives. and the previous owner never really used it. You turn the key and engine immediately turn s right on. faster than a new car! Almost everything has been replaced except rebuilding the engine. which does not need it. Transmission - is smooth. very strong. checked and oiled. Clutch is in great shape - did not need replacingEverything!! Works on the Truck - All gauges. wipers. lights. blinkers. speedometer. defroster for the windshield. hand choke. windows. mirrors. There is nothing on the truck that doesn't work!Interior - Dash needs repainting. seat needs to be redone (has original bench seat). Carpet is not original and needs to be replaced because its dirty (just a small stand of carpet) This car will be so easy to restore to brand new that I actually feel like keeping it. It runs like a beast and for a 1962 I just am soon happy with everything about it. Tires- Front Tires will need to be replaced soon. but Rear tires are "Nubby's" almost with Full Tread!! (see pictures)Has a hand crank lift that cranks with so much ease and almost no elbow grease. lowers all the way to the floor and than lifts all the way to the bed so you can lift anything by your self and slide it on the bed. I can very easily place something over 200 pound and crank it with very little effort. It works very smooth. no weird noises. very quiet except for the clicks. This reason alone is worth me keeping the truck!! I know Im going to regret selling this later :/ (see pictures)Truck Bed had the old wood rotting so it was removed and cleaned out. ready for you to lay down the wood of your choice. metal. what ever you want!
