Description of 1969 Ford Mustang

World Class Pro-Touring Fastback 500hp Coyote Aluminator V8 T56 6-speed A/C ///
As a rule, the best restorations begin as solid cars, and naturally, this choice Mustang was stripped all the way down to bare metal at the dawn of its build. It's pretty easy to see that intense focus was put on the car's legendary body, with the aforementioned metal finessed for excellent fit. And all that form was eventually bathed in high quality Axalta Rosso Corsa 2-stage. Officially named 'Coyote Aluminator', this Mustang's 5.0 liter, DOHC V8 utilizes a forged crank, Boss 302 bearings, ARP-secured Manley H-beams and Grafal-coated Mahle pistons to twist easy horsepower into miles of pavement scorching torque! Behind that buttery powerplant, a close-ratio, Viper-spec Tremec T56 6-speed spins a lightweight aluminum driveshaft. That tube twists a fresh Ford 9-inch that's finished with a fluid pump, a Truetrac differential and big, 4.11 gears. That versatile drivetrain rolls on a Detroit Speed QUADRALink rear-clip. That clip pushes a Detroit Speed Aluma-Frame front-half. Lucid turns come courtesy of Detroit Speed rack-and-pinion steering. At the corners, big Baer calipers cinch drilled and slotted rotors. Calico-coated exhaust shuttles spent gases through an X-shaped crossover, tidy mufflers and oval, side-exit tips. And power meets the pavement through 3-piece Forgelines and BF Goodrich g-Force Rivals. Between the doors, reclining Recaro buckets string 5-point Schroth Racing harnesses beneath a 4-point roll bar. A carbon fiber-trimmed dash frames New Vintage telemetry and controls for modern air conditioning. A booted Hurst shifter leads hidden Custom Autosound audio that's threaded to Rockford Fosgate speakers. And the driver spins a Momo Competition steering wheel around a tilting Ididit column and small Wilwood pedals. Call, click or visit for more information on this incredible Mustang pro-tourer!
