1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429 KK 2543. California Boss sold new at Drew ford in Lamesa. Ca. and was later converted to Bonneville Salt flat racer by owners Chuck Hebestreit and Howard Johansen (Howards Cams) Car ran at Bonneville with Boss 302 engine. When Bonneville duty was complete car was fitted with narrowed rear for drag racing use. Car sat in California desert for last 30 years. Bonneville paint scheme has beautiful patina. Body is rust free. Original driveline and interior long gone. Extra parts include freshly rebuilt RUG-AE2 toploader. NOS 70 Boss 429 hood. correct 31 spline 9" rear. Boss 429 timing cover. and Raybestos-Manhattan valve cover gaskets. Repo parts included are Boss 429 oil pan. alternator brackets. water pump and crank pulleys. oil cooler lines and heat riser tubes.
