Description of 1979 Ford F-150 XLT Ranger

This is a super nice 1979 Ford F-150 XLT Ranger, 4x4, 4-speed, short box that spent its entire life in Colorado and Wyoming where the dry climate helped to maintain the truck in mostly rust-free condition. There is some very minor rust at the bottom of both doors as you can see in the pictures. It runs and drives fantastic. It has been well maintained. Just got a new steering box, new windshield, new seat foam, new seat cover and new tires. It still wears its factory colors of blue and white. I just took this truck on a 150-mile road trip on the interstate and it ran like a champ. It is very comfortable at 70-73 MPH (2300-2500 RPM) and everything works like it should with the exception of the A/C. The A/C is complete except for the duct work that goes behind the dash. I am currently on the hunt for it. We will install it for free before it leaves, if I manage to find it in time. Please bid with that in mind.
