Description of 1994 Ford Mustang

1994 S-351 “R Code, looking to pursue other cars on my bucket list. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions.

A 645 HP / 667 ft-lbs investment car. Crazy fast, and almost certainly going to appreciate in value over time due to its rarity.
1994 Saleen S-351 “R-code, bumper # 94-042
1 of 44 S-351’s built in 1994 (first year of new body and S-351 production)
1 of 12 factory supercharged cars
1 of 6 cars with the “R-code” options (terminology of R-code started in 1995, but this car came with the same options, and is recognized by Saleen as an “R-code”)
1 of 1 per Saleen with the options it has (supercharger, Alcon brakes, 3.27 gear ..)
If you are looking for a completely original Saleen, this is probably not your car. If however, you are looking for a very nice example of a S-351 that can be driven, that performs better than the originals (power, suspension, etc), but retains the original look…this might be the car for you. It is well sorted, drives nicely with good manners, until you want to unleash the boost.
The sounds of a Vortech V1 T-trim is simply intoxicating at idle.
Mileage on the car / chassis : 46,000
Mileage on the motor and driveline: about 5,000
Performance: As it currently sits, the car makes 645 RWHP, 667 ft-lbs at 13 psi. It’s plenty fast.
Details on the mechanicals: Original motor/block removed (still have it, can be provided with the car), and replaced with a fully forged 383 ci assembly (forged crank, rods, blower pistons), ported Trick Flow heads, ported Trick Flow R-series intake, blower cam, Vortech T-trim, methanol injection for running pump gas. (645 RWHP was on pump gas). Transmission is a Tremec 3550, Spec Stage 3 clutch, with an Auburn differential (3.27).
Has been professionally dyno tuned with custom chip program to account for modifications and boost.

Suspension includes Saleen sway bar and springs, Koni Yellow 5-way adjustable shocks, Tubular front control arms, Maximum Motorsports 3-link rear suspension (with panhard rod and torque arm)
Exterior Condition: Mostly original, Laser Red paint. Has been paint corrected and a 6-year ceramic coating applied. Car does have rock chips along the front bumper simply due to age and mileage as well as areas where the fiberglass shows signs of cosmetic stress cracking near the bumper cover and side skirts. But, presents very well for a car with 26 year old paint. Zero dents, windshield and glass have no cracks or issues.
Wheels are the Saleen Italian Speedlines, with the 10” rears
Interior Condition: Very nice and tidy. Saleen Recaro cloth seats with no rips or tears, twin gauge pod (boost and fuel pressure). Radio replaced with modern CD player. Everything works as it should (windows, locks, gauges, etc). Have also added 2 A-pillar gauges: Air/Fuel ratio, and intake air temperature.
Additional original parts that can come with the car (assuming full or very close to full asking price): the original (welded spacer) intake, original wing, 2 additional Saleen Lemans Italian rear wheels (8.5” wide), original hood, engine block, and shift knob.
Documentation: original 1994 purchase receipt, canceled check from purchase, and various original literature will also be included. The Saleen Letter of Authenticity, noting the VIN, options, and rarity (1 of 1 with options) hand signed by Steve Saleen.
Likely to appreciate! The 80s and early 90s “fox” body Saleens have seen a surge in sale prices, and the S351 is likely to soon follow. Compared to the fox-body Saleens, they were made in far fewer numbers between 1994 and 1999 … and this S351 for sale is the first production year (1 of 44). Between 1994 and 1999, Saleen produced about 300 S351 cars, with far fewer being the factory supercharged models. Comparable to the Shelby Cobras of the 1960s in the manner they were built and the numbers produced.
Bottom Line: Absolutely awesome driving car, shows well, gets attention, rare, fast, corners and handles, and likely to appreciate in value over time.
