1989 Ford F-250 Turbo Diesel Split Window Grandpa Special. NO RUST! NO RESERVE! 7.3 w/ Turbo. SURVIVOR!
Here is one of the nicer, more original desirable split window vintage diesel F-250. This truck has been lovingly maintained and owned by an older gentleman. 7.3l diesel engine runs and drives great with no known major issues. Also maintained professionally and driven regularly. This truck has all the extra bells and whistles as to be expected from a grandpa. Custom gauges, cb radio, overdrive addition, extra antennas, etc.
Exterior- The exterior is still very sharp. Paint shines up nicely as seen in the pictures. The clear coat is coming off on the hood and top as also seen in the pictures. I got a quote of $1,000 to paint the hood and top from a local paint shop. I would be willing to do that at the buyers expense. There is NO rust at all on this truck. Always been a Northern California truck. No major body damage. There are a few little dings and scratches as to be expected. This classic gets compliments everywhere it goes. Most of these trucks do not look this good. These trucks are very desirable especially in this condition.
Interior- Overall, the interior is very nice. Always taken care of and shows. The driver seat has a small patch but still in good structural condition. The rest of the seats are in like new condition. The carpet shows wear but not bad at all considering its age. All the windows and door locks work properly. Has an aftermarket cd player. A/C and heater also function. Headliner has some scuffs and could be eventually replaced but also good enough.
Mechanical- This truck runs and drives great! I would not hesitate to drive this truck anywhere. Starts right up! Previous owner installed a lot of mechanical upgrades to improve performance including a turbo kit, exhaust brake, gauges, etc. This truck will not win any races but will always get the job done.
You will not be disappointed! The pictures are nice but this Ford looks better in person. Truck is being sold AS-IS so you are encouraged to view and drive it before auction ends.
