Vehicle has original 390 engine with vin stamped in block, Car ran and drove before owner stripped it down for a start of a restoration 2 years ago but stopped project due to moving from California to Oregon. Car will need new floor boards due to rusty floors.Frame rails and torque boxes are rust free.Owner was told by prior owner that engine had been rebuilt 1,000 miles ago, car ran fine with no smoking or clattering when purchased and when parked and disassembled.
Take a look at the Marti Report attached and you will see the rarity of this car. This is a 1 of 1 car with the options. It is not everyday you find a project S Code mustang convertible for sale at a reasonable price.
First image of car was when it was complete prior to being stripped down before a move to Oregon. The car's hood, fenders, interior, engine, and transmission were removed in California as the first picture was taken. Then due to moving the car was reassembled with better super clean front fenders from another meadowlark yellow 69 mustang I owned, engine was bolted back into the engine bay, interior was still removed and transmission was placed into the cab of car. Accessories to car are all boxed up for transport.
The car has no damage to the Big Block reinforced shock towers.
Car comes with the following interior items: front and back seat, seat belts, back seat side panels, ripped dash pad, instrument gauges, (no door panels) (no carpet)Body: tail lights, front grill, headlights, front bumper, rocker panel molding, all glass, window knobs, set of style steel wheels and old school craiger rims (no rear bumper, no material for convertible top but top mechanism is present)Engine: Original vin stamped block with correct GT heads, valve covers, and intake and exhaust manifolds, power steering pump attached to engine, A/C compressor and bracket.
