Description of 1971 Ford F-250 Crew Cab |
LOW RESERVE LOW RESERVE LOW RESERVE
1971 F250 Crew Cab 460/C6, runs and drives, unknown mileage on motor/trans. Clean straight dash and glove box. Very straight roof and drip rails. Doors open and close nicely. Glass is good. Has bench seats. Pretty complete. The Bad : minor pin holes on passenger side drip, kick panels, Bed has rust, and one rear cab corner. The Good: Cab mounts are cleanest I’ve ever seen, roof is super straight and solid, dash is solid, runs with 460/C6, inside bed appears as if it was never used to haul anything, glass is is good. The 71’ regular cab donor was purchased as a donor. It runs with a 360/3spd (I wouldn’t consider it a driver, needs to be gone through). The front clip is near perfect (panels, hood, grille, etc). The passenger side has a dent near tool box and passenger door skin is pushed in. Dash is straight, pad needs replaced. Floors have rust. Glass is good. It could be a good project on its own if you choose to use the panels that are existing on the crew cab. This is a perfect pair of trucksfor someone wanting to build an early bumpside crew cab. Extremely easy metal work needed. I have seen many of these trucks and the rust repair issues are minimal compared to other candidates.
