Description of 1966 Ford Thunderbird Landau

Car is loaded. RareQ code 428 engine that runs great. Car has great mid-century stylein iconicmid-century colors with one of Ford's best engines of the era. Has Reclining passenger seat to help convince your significant other why you should buy this car. Body is in excellent condition. Needs paint, vinyl top and driver seat upholstery workto get it to a presentable look. All four power windows work, but the right vent window switch shorts out the circuit. The console is so well designedI can't figure out how to accessthe window switchwhich should be an easyrepair otherwise. This car resides about a mile from where it was sold new from in 1966.Always a California car with original plates and dealer plate frame. Original keys(one set) No rust underneath, just some undercoating and very clean looking. Most of the chrome is very presentable. I am presuming the AC and 8 Track don't work. Engine compartment isclean for a 54 year old car. Some other things aren't perfect and manyare excellent. I am presuming the odometer has turned once. It could be 47,342 original miles, but I would assume 147,342.Car is worth more in it'sparts than the asking price. My responses to questions doesn't seem to be working. I am not aware of any rust throughon the roof or anywhere except the battery tray that sits on the inner fender. Tires will most likely need replacing for highway driving. The shifter might need a bearing eventually as sometimes you have to move it slightly to start the car. Also I would plan on servicing the car, tune up, fluids etc. if you plan on regular driving as I haven't been driving the car. I Bought it from an old car guy and mechanic about four years ago.
