The engine is backed by a smooth - Cruise O Matic - automatic transmission which is also functions. This car runs and drives Excellent!! It cruises along on the highway at 70 mph effortlessly. The BEAUTIFUL Black and white interior is in NICE shape with a Nice white front bucket seats, Nice white rear bench seat, Nice Black carpeting, Nice Black vinyl convertible top, Nice ORIGINAL dash with correct chrome panels, Nice ORIGINAL Black dash pad with NO CRACKS, Nice ORIGINAL gauge clusters including factory 140 mph speedometer, Nice ORIGINAL steering wheel, Nice ORIGINAL interior chrome and stainless steel and Nice matching two tone Black and White door panels with correct stainless steel panels. This 1960 Bird has outstanding looks and Great power as well! These vehicles have an appreciative group of owners any of which would be pleased to own this one. All of the light lenses and reflectors are clear, bright, uncracked and in nice shape. The matching Two Tone Black and White interior is also BEAUTIFUL, what a GORGEOUS color combination !! how could you get any better? This car is nicely equipped including four way power seat, Original fuel and temp gauges are currently not working, Original fender mounted chrome radio antenna, good heater, original Thunderbird AM radio which is working, original clock which is also working, Edelbrock 4-Barrel carburetor under the hood, factory fender skirts, nice chrome drivers side exterior mirror, windshield wipers currently not working. It has a nice clean original trunk and no spare tire. This vehicle is in GREAT mechanical condition and it runs and drives like a dream. I drove the car as my everyday driver to and from the office and running errands as needed and it did GREAT even on the freeway, I have pictures with the top up and down, but we had a time getting the power top up and it will need attention to work properly. It is beautiful with respect to the overall cosmetic impression and check out the chrome and stainless on this car, it is BEAUTIFUL it is just about "Show" perfect! This car has BEAUTIFUL Original Chrome Thunderbird wire wheels and nice whitewall tires. Boy does this combination look OUTSTANDING on this car and give it that clean ORIGINAL look! I looked underneath and it looks to have just been through a Frame-off restoration, all the floor pans and trunk pan all look just like new, I included photos below. In my opinion your not going to find much nicer FLOORS than the ones on this car!
