Description of 1931 Ford Model A Roadster

This 1931 Ford Model A Roadster is a rumble seat hot rod with slick paint and V8 power. So you know you're going to love it even before you find out that this street machine is an all-steel build.

The dark red metallic provides a super-slick shine that highlights the curves of the body and immediately commands attention. And let's face it, if you want a cool hot rod like this, then you want a bold attention-grabbing paintjob. Fit and finish are great on this steel-bodied car. The doors shut solid, the hood lines up nicely, and the trunk closes flush. That's why the glossy paint allows the light to dance almost seamlessly across the iconic lines. This really is a detail-oriented build. You see it everywhere from the red trim on the black folding roof, to the smart-looking steps to get into the rumble seat. There's a ton of great brightwork on the bumpers, handles, radiator, mirrors, windshield frame, and flying goose mascot leading the way. And while the engine is on display for the world to view, you can easily see this one is built for performance with the bright 15-inch Centerline alloys with extra meaty ones in the rear.

The tobacco brown interior is a nice touch, because it has a classic look and a timeless color combo against the red exterior. Plus, the dash and steering column have been painted the same as the exterior red to really connect the color theme. More than just look nice, you have the right driver features, like the Grant wood/chrome steering wheel, Lokar floor shifter for the three-speed automatic, and a dash full of crisp Classic Instruments gauges. And, of course, we know you love the rumble seat. It's finished in the same vinyl and pattern as the front seat, so it's great to show off even when there's no one in the back.

The 350 cubic-inch Chevy V8 is the choice for the best hot rods because it has the most parts available to upgrade for show and go. So while people can admire the shining components and tidy setup, you also know there is a whole lot of performance beyond its style. This one has been enhanced with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and headers that feed the very straight dual exhaust pipes. And while you're checking those out in the undercarriage photos, don't forget to also spot nice driving features, like front disc brakes, rear adjustable coilovers, and four-link suspension front & rear.

The sale comes complete with side panels for the engine bay. This is the roadster that's traditional in all the ways that matter to you, and fully finished in a way that makes people sit up and take notice. If you're ready to have all eyes on you, call today!
