Description of 1930 Ford Model A

Hello my fellow EBayers! This auction is for a 1930 Ford model A pick up truck. It was purchased as a project by my friend because it was there. He has acquired tons of parts for it that will be listed below. It is a non running project vehicle that can either be restored or Hot Rodded. There is rusted sections on the body panels (holes) that have been arrested with sealant paint. The frame is EXCELLENT. The original rear axle and suspension are still installed in the chassis. The torque tube is still installed. The steel front and rear fenders as well as the running boards are in great condition needing only a little attention. Original steering box and column. The roof section is missing the material center section and repair had begun to the roof prior to him purchasing. The Bed and tailgate are FANTASTIC. NO GLASS. No powertrain. Purchasing of a powertrain will be the option of the buyer depending on whether the truck is to be restored or modified. Included will be a CORE 9 inch rear axle with axle shafts that WILL REQUIRE NARROWING AS WELL AS FITMENT AND MOUNTING TO THIS CHASSIS. There is also a rear disc brake package included for this 9 inch. Brand new front disc brake set up from SPEEDWAY included. There is also another front axle included as well. Also included is a Mustang 2 steering box and mounting plate. Aluminum universal gas tank included although the original fuel tank is there. Just assume that the original tank will probably require restoration. The original radiator and chrome. The original headlight assemblies and hood are in GREAT condition although the will require restoration. Please remember. this is not a show car. This is a pay in person. pick up in person cash auction. As always. please ask ALL questions prior to bidding and make no assumptions. Read my feedback and bid with confidence. Thanks for looking!Send a phone number so I can have serious potential bidder have the owner call you. AND NO. I will not end the auction early. 3/26/15: I included a picture of the NY State transferable registration. I had a question about the numbers of the 'VIN' not being correct for the chassis. When you get a replacement registration for an older vehicle like this in New York State they issue such by a chalk or lead stencil where the numbers are on the frame. That is the process that was taken to get this vehicles registration and it was in fact registered (for insurance in storage purposes) with license plates on it. When I discussed this with the owner he said that he is not going to take the body off the frame. The registration is correct for the vehicle. verified and issued by NY State. His 1930 coupe hot rod had completely different numbers altogether. but were verified and registered by New York State. Thanks
