This is my 1990 Ford Thunderbird Super Coupe. I've loved this car. Enjoyed it on trips to the NC mountains and beaches; even taken it thru parades. But it's time for me to sell, as I'm now fixing up a Lincoln Mark VIII. There's GOOD and BAD to this car; but it's primed for someone with more patience and time than myself. The GOOD: Original body, paint, wheels, interior, engine; interior in superior shape for a 30 year old car; paint is dulling a bit but shines up well; virtually no rust; car was shipped to NC om AZ in 2017; new aftermarket stereo and subwoofer; replaced front-end suspension, starter (limited lifetime warranty), tires (~10K miles on them; (Cooper Zeons)); battery; fuel pump; fog lamps, instrument lighting; LED headlights. The BAD: a) car has a difficult time starting, then runs fine (Suspect it's Cam Sensor, Coil Pack or DIS module); something is throwing off the spark/electrical; b) brake loses power boost after ~20min of driving; pedal becomes stiff/hard; then, boost will return; problem is intermittent (Suspect Pressure Switch or Accumulator). c) some features have lost power; ABS, power antenna, passenger window switch, rear defogger, gas gauge. I'm a banker by trade, not a mechanic. I've done my best and loved this car; now time to work on the Mark VIII best I can. Comes with 2 sets of keys, all the paperwork I have, extra parts and shop manuals. Ask me anything; happy to help the new owners. Buyer responsible for pickup and/or shipping; down payment required 2days after auction.
