| Up for sale is this stunning 1952 Ford F1 Flathead V8 Pickup Truck. This is a mildly resto-modded FORD!! No Chevy crate motor or transmission used here. Fresh off a two year nut and bolt restoration giving tribute to how it might have been hot rodded in the 50's. Finished in a Grabber Blue single stage PPG paint job that is drop dead gorgeous. The interior is beautifully finished in supple two tone leather and full modern vintage styled instrumentation. The black lacquered 18" steering wheel mounted to the steep column provides the throwback driving experience you expect from a classic truck. Cowl vent and kick panel air flaps are an amazingly efficient and simple means of climate control. A vintage electronic radio head unit with hidden aux cable looks fantastic. Lots of tasteful detail inside and out is evidence that no expense was spared. The bed is breathtaking and the steel yellow wheels and dog dish chrome caps and rings add the perfect finishing touch. The truck is properly powered by a freshly rebuilt period correct Ford 239 Flathead V8 with Offenhauser heads and intake under a twin stack carb setup. Resting on those frame rails and against the finished firewall it just looks perfect. Finished off with a set of Red's Headers and Smithy's mufflers this working time piece of a power train runs and sounds awesome. It's all connected to the 9" Ford rear end through a smooth shifting Ford T5 5-speed manual transmission. All new 12 volt wiring. Stanced and staggered 15" front and rear using Nostalgia Sid's drop axle. springs. tie rods etc. and front disk brakes with hide away frame mounted master cylinder. This '52 Ford truck was lovingly built by restoration professionals with restraint; working hard to remain faithful to the the hot rodders of its day. Fully documented and photographed restoration with receipts including a hardbound photo book. This is a real deal custom show stopper Ford with a Ford Flathead built for Ford guys and Ford gals.
