Description of 1990 Ford F-350 XLT

Up for auction is this extremely well cared for 1990 Ford F-350 4x4! This truck is very, very, clean, well maintained and has never been worked or abused. These single wheel F-350s are getting hard to find in any condition. To find one that has been well cared for and not abused is double- tough!

I purchased the truck last year from a gentleman out of Denver, Colorado. He used the truck sparingly as a commuter. He told me the previous owner used the truck as a weekend vehicle for recreational outings. It is obvious the truck has never been used as a work truck or abused.

The truck is nicely equipped with a fuel injected 460, 5 speed, tilt/PS/PW/AM/FM/CD/Bluetooth/AC /PB (Anti-lock), dual tanks, PB, tow package, trailer brake, Warn driving lights and a 10,000 pound Warn winch. Work recently done to the truck includes rear bearings (all), brakes, clutch master cylinder alignment and service. The truck looks very good and runs and drives perfectly! You would be hard pressed to find a cleaner 1990 F-350!

The paint is original with minor rock chips and is thin on the leading edge of the front fenders. The top of the cab and the driver’s side A-pillar have been touched up. The body has no major damage but both doors have minor indentions (by the mirrors). It looks like someone or something was leaned against the doors at some point. They are not very visible (look very close at the photos and you should see them) and would pop out very easily from the inside (if the door panels were removed). Glass is good, as is the trim. Body panels fit nicely and doors open and close as they should.

The interior is as clean as they come! Carpet, door panels, seat, headliner and visors are original, well cared for and clean! The “velour” is worn partially off on the driver’s side of the seat. Interior has no rips, tears, cracks stains anywhere! All the interior trim is in place and like new.

Everything on the truck works great with the exception of the door buzzer. It does work but it is very faint (which is kind of a nice thing). A/C blows cold, gauges are all operational, power windows function properly as do door locks, wipers, dash lights, dome light and cargo light. This is a squared away truck!

The truck drives like new, has no leaks or drips and is surprisingly comfortable on the road (loaded or unloaded). Transmission shifts smoothly, transfer case engages and disengage easily and the 460 pulls strong runs perfectly. I installed a high-end free flow muffler which lets the truck breath a little easier and gives it a nice low rumble.

All the factory manuals are included with the truck.

Truck is showing 108,000 miles. Based on the condition, the drivability and the lack of rattles, squeaks and vibrations they were pampered miles.

This truck is ready to go! Tires are high end Coopers with less than 2500 miles! I would not hesitate to jump in the truck and drive it to the east coast tomorrow!

If you are in the market for a Ford F-350 single cab this is one to consider. I have used it sparingly to tow my personal cars to shows on the weekends and am always surprised by the attention and comments the old truck receives. It is not very often you find an F-350 in this condition and most car folks really appreciate it!

Whether you want a nice old truck to take to Saturday coffee, are looking for a unique tow rig for your classic car, or just need a spare rig at the coastal or mountain retreat this F-350 is one to consider
