You will not find a better example for a 1966 Ford Mustang Fastback. this mustang received a complete nut and bolt restoration, body off. California build, Zero Rust, Paint is near flawless, all chrome window trim is new, bumpers new, engine compartment is stunning. Interior is new.... From the detailed engine compartment to the flawless red interior, you will not find one better. No smoke, no engine noise, rides whisper quiet. 2 + 2 Fold down seats are perfect. Only 500 miles have been driven since the restoration. the underside of this Fastback Mustang is the best you will see, deserving of crossing the block at Barrett-Jackson on their best day. please look at the pictures and see the detail that was put into this restoration. New red line tires. Matching inner fender #'s, engine compartment, to the cars vin #. I do have a few more pictures, Ebay only allows 24.
I cannot stress enough the beauty of this original Red on Red Fastback. Nothing, I mean nothing needs to be done. This is the finest Mustang I have ever, I mean ever seen. We just drove this car on a 60 mile trip to a car show and it handled and drove like a new car. Drove straight, cool at 90 degrees outside, and was surrounded at the car show. Ford fan shroud has also been installed. I also have the Ford Scott Drake Hi-Po Chrome Air Cleaner that goes with this sale. Sitting in this car is like sitting in a brand new 1966 Mustang Fastback.
You could pay less and dump thousands of dollars into a lesser Mustang Fastback, and it still would not be this one. Reserve is set, buy it now price is a bargain if you have looked at lesser examples. Reserve will not be disclosed, you will know it when the bid hits it. The car will also be advertised locally and in other national publications. We reserve the right to end the auction if the car sells through those other advertisements. If the reserve is met here on the auction, we will not end the auction for any reason.
