A modern look on an old style – Restored ’74 Bronco RangerThis Bronco gets looks EVERYWHERE. I’ve owned this Bronco for 5 years and had safety inspections (in Virginia) every year. This truck is in amazing shape with no rust anywhere. Soft top is on it now but this listing also comes with the original metal hard top with the glass separate. So, it’s your choice which top you’d prefer. The hard top is primed and ready to be painted. Also including the bikini top for summer enjoyment! This classic has a straight 6 engine and replaced rear end 4:11 gears. Engine was remanufactured and replaced at 95,543 miles with an estimated 3,000 miles since replacement. I had a Carter 1-barrel carburetor put in and this thing runs like new! I had the brakes replaced with power brakes (from TBP) and nerf bars on the sides. The seats are original but have been refinished with stitched custom upholstery and Orange “houndstooth†panels pulled from a 70’s Camaro to match the paint. I had custom headrests added to the seats.It has 33/12.50/15 tires on Ford rims; very smooth running on the highway at 70+ MPH. Amazing paint and under coating. The interior is rhino lined black. Custom roll bar with custom stitched leather roll bar padding. Comes with box of weather stripping including the door seals.There are modernized improvements, but the classic look has been retained. For example: There is an upgraded instrument cluster with a 2-color backlight as opposed to the original bulb lit panel; the sound system retains the classic look but it is iPhone compatible with USB inputs. There are upgraded speakers, an amp for the 4 speakers, and a self-powered sub-woofer. There are LED lights under the dash. But, I’ll be buying a house soon and won’t have the time or money for this project. I really don't want to sell it but I can’t really justify it anymore. So, I can explain nearly anything about this Bronco if anyone has any questions but, the main improvements on this are under the hood: Engine w/more power, better radiator, & power steering. Maybe AC/Heat combo if someone wants to. There are also some replacement seals (included) that were on my list to get to. Other than that, the only thing to mention is that there are two minor scratches: one on the driver’s side door and one on hood. I’m not a paint expert but someone who is told me that both could be buffed out. Also, the paint doesn't seem to be fully pearl, but it does look a bit different in different light. The pic of the glove box door is the most accurate pic of the color.
