One of the cleanest and original 1977 F 100 short bed step side 2X4 trucks anywhere! Date of Mfg. 05/77. Door tag is perfect. Tag on firewall is original and intact. 117,000 original miles. Nearly all is original paint inside and out. Hood and right fender were repainted decades ago. ZERO rust any where on this truck. Floors, frame, door bottoms, cab corners, rockers, etc. are all dry and clean. The grill is extremely fine. Front bumper is straight but a bit tarnished. Some dings in drivers door and one on top of the cab. The tailgate and hood are exceptionally nice. All lights, turn signals, wipers work fine. New heater core and fan motor installed. Original #'s matching 2V 302 engine just refreshed with rear main seal, steel timing gear set, oil pump, water pump, main bearings, new motor mounts, carb rebuilt and she purrs smoothly. Did not need bored. Original 4 speed shifts perfectly and is nice and tight. New clutch, throwout bearing, resurfaced flywheel, etc. Has dual fuel tanks. Nearly new BFG T/A tires on original wheels with original hubcaps. This truck had the utility side boxes put on and painted to match (shown in the last 2 photos) around 1985. I have lightly re-installed the original rear fenders and the utility side boxes go with the truck. You will need to correctly install the rear fenders before driving but it is fine for transport. All glass is extremely nice. Original seat upholstery is torn but the seat frame and springs are great. Three small cracks in the padded dash. Brand new floormat installed over immaculate floor pans. Will need side steps as the originals are gone. Has a correct looking Ford radio dated 72 that needs installed and the rear view mirror included also needs attached. Has incorrect side mirrors installed. Runs down the road quietly and true. Has power steering and front disc brakes. Original wood in the bed shows its age. The space between the back of the cab and the front of the bed is absolutely immaculate!A rare patina truck that you can drive locally as is or make a super restoration candidate.
