Description of 1952 Ford F-100

Very cool retro truck. Hard to find in this condition without spending $50 to $70k on a fully restored one. Amazingly free of rust issues. Slight patina on the underside as the pictures show. Not a restomod or a trailer queen but a vintage truck you can be proud to drive and enjoy. Nothing fancy like power steering or brakes but presented like it was built almost 70 years ago. It has taken a bow to modernity with conversion from 6 volt to 12. Older repaint still shows well with a couple minor imperfections as noted in the pictures.
Owner is a retired business man who turned wrenches most of his life maintaining his fleet of trucks. He knows a good truck when he sees one and this one was too good to pass up. Since acquiring her down South in 2018 he shipped her to NH and went through many of the mechanicals like all new brakes, flushed radiator and installed new thermostat, rebuilt the carb, replaced an exhaust manifold, u-joints, plugs, points and condenser. He also put in the hardwood kit for the bed.
Heater works nicely with a two speed fan. Windows crank fine. Wipers work. Horn works. Interior has been done at some point and looks great. Tires are very nice. Glass is good. Clutch and tranny engage as they should. Front end is tight, no shimmy or wobble. Flathead v8 rumbles instantly to life when you turn the key. I have ridden in her and didn't find anything to complain about. No smoke, smells or leaks observed.
Only defects worth mentioning are shown in the pictures on the front end and the rear of the cab. In shipping it took a light bump to the top rear of the cab and was crudely repaired. Not really noticeable unless you look for it. Factory gauges are inop but after market temp and oil pressure were added and keep track of the important things.
